When designing a home for a large family and frequent guests, it is essential to incorporate elements of sustainability, functionality, and modern design trends. With these key principles in mind, our design team embarked on a project to create a dream home for our client, a family of six who regularly host extended family and friends. Sustainability was at the forefront of our design considerations, and we worked closely with our client to identify sustainable solutions for the home.

We incorporated energy-efficient lighting and appliances, and utilized renewable materials wherever possible. To reduce water consumption, we installed low-flow toilets, showers, and faucets, and incorporated rainwater harvesting systems for irrigation and other non-potable uses. Functionality was also a top priority, as we sought to create a space that was both beautiful and practical. We designed an open-concept living area that seamlessly integrates with the kitchen and dining areas, allowing the family and guests to gather and socialize while cooking, eating, or relaxing. The bedrooms and bathrooms were thoughtfully planned to provide privacy and comfort for each family member and guest, with ample storage space and easy access to the common areas. In terms of modern design trends, we opted for a sleek and minimalist aesthetic, with clean lines and neutral color palettes.

We used natural materials such as wood and stone to bring warmth and texture to the space, and incorporated pops of color through artwork and accent pieces. The result is a timeless and stylish home that is both functional and beautiful.
