The Turkish designer’s Red Dot Design Award-winning series Flux, part of Feltouch’s Sense collection, presents a strikingly dynamic range of acoustic wall and ceiling panels made of PET felt.

Flux is a new series of interior acoustic products manufactured by Istanbul-based product development company Feltouch in collaboration with Turkish designer Yiğit Özer. Its panels feature PET felt, a sustainable and non-woven fabric derived from recycled plastic bottles, a material that Feltouch specializes in.

PET felt has exceptional acoustic properties and molding capabilities, while also excelling in fire- and moisture-resistance, making it well-suited for use in acoustic paneling. It is also certified as low VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds), highlighting Feltouch’s commitment to sustainability and health-focused design.

Part of the company’s Sense collection, Flux comes in 14 unique modular forms — and a host of color options — that can be assembled in various configurations and used on walls and ceilings as paneling, along with integrated lighting. The units can be simply affixed to walls or ceilings with hook and loop fasteners or magnets, or else implemented as suspended ceiling elements with integrated luminaires.

The design of each of the forms allows the panels to come together to create various striking combinations that lend the surface a sense of fluidity and dynamism. The combinations allow users and designers a range of options and the flexibility to create custom designs with the product, while also fulfilling functional acoustic requirements.
